CAUSES
Founded in 2016, Fit To Achieve is a charity dedicated to improving the lives of individuals in Nigeria and the UK who are affected by sickle cell disease. The charity was founded by June Okochi, who has lived with the disease all her life and understands the challenges that individuals and their families face. Our mission is to empower people living with sickle cell disease and support them in achieving their goals.
To reach out to individuals and their families affected by sickle cell anaemia in West Africa’s under-served rural communities through provision of education, support and aid; enabling them to be empowered and manage their condition and to live relatively healthy lives.
